Automatic Door Technicians
As a growing and progressive company, MGS are always seeking best in class technicians to join our busy teams. Ideally, you will be multi-skilled and have experience in the installation, service & repair of automatic doors, industrial doors, gates and barriers.
Right now, we have positions available in the following areas:
- Midlands
- West London across M4/M3
- South West
You will need to hold your CSCS & ADSA cards and have a clean driving licence.
Having your 18th edition electrical card would be an advantage but not necessary.
Must be accredited to EN:16005. Salary on application.

Aluminium Saw Operator
Based in Kingswinford at our busy head office fabrication centre, you’ll be responsible for using the double mitred saw to cut all aluminium profiles to size from our fabrication list.
Using Senior Systems aluminium profiles and state-of-the-art machinery, you’ll work as part of a team to create quality, bespoke aluminium door, glazing and curtain walling systems to be despatched to a range of clients across the UK.

Apprenticeship Scheme
MGS is proud to support and actively participate in the Apprenticeship Scheme for Powered Pedestrian Door Engineers. We were one of the first employers within the automatic door industry to enrol two Apprentices when the scheme was first launched in March 2021, and have since welcomed two more in the 2nd intake.
As a West Midlands based employer, it is a pleasure to work with South Staffordshire College to deliver the Apprenticeship Standard “Powered Pedestrian Door Installer and Servicer” developed by the Automatic Door Suppliers Association (ADSA).
The scheme provides a formal entry level qualification and a consistent, high standard approach to training that covers both the engineering theory and practical aspects of installing and maintaining automatic doors.
The Apprenticeship scheme is a professional path with opportunities for local young people to join the growing automatic door industry, and is open to both existing MGS employees and new starters.
